Roboflash warrior (1994)

After the nuclear holocaust a group of survivors tries to hunt down and kill Roboflash warrior, a humanoid killing machine created by the army.

Oh lord let there be crap. In this french 90ies ,shot with a dv camera, postapocalyptic tale we have looter monks looking for virgins to rape and sacrifice, kungfu  and time travel all mixed togheter with hilarious acting, cheezy effects,  stupid dialogue and  useless deathmetal .

Desert kickboxer (1992)

Navajo kickboxer stops competing when he realises he loves violence a bit to much and becomes a policeofficer in the desert. He encounters a couple escaping from a criminal organisation and must help them fight the bad guys.

Wait a minute, indian kickboxer in the desert kicking ass? This movie is so from the 90ies, it has some cliche´s like a blonde badass badguy , eagles appearing during practice, and of course, professional hitmen who cant shoot. It also has some desert rape,badass bikers,  a retard  and small amounts of violent desert kickboxing.

King-Ka Kayasit aka The magic lizard (1985)

Now this is some weird shit, and by weird I mean superduperultra weird! In this exposé of thai demencia we meet King-Ka, a giant rollerskating lizard, who is guarding a sacred and very powerful crystal in a cave beneath the temple. All of a sudden a spaceships invades Thailand and the evil giant Jum killer appears with his lightsabre and steals the crystal and flies off to the moon. King-Ka then awakens Yak Wat Jang so that he can fly to the moon, battle Jum killer and return the crystal before the earth is destroyed by the evil giant.

 King-Ka  spends almost the whole movie running around with his high pitched voice, dancing with animals and escaping from lizardhunters and crocodiles before reused scenes from Yak Wang Yang vs Jumborg ace sums it all up. Not that its bad in any way since this is some serious, hilarious and demented stuff in a kind of bad acid trip sort of way. We have talking animals, dancing elephants, rollerskating flying lizzards and giant mosquitos sucking thai men ( yes, you read it right) . And of course some serious bullshit, litteraly bullshit as the lizard actually takes a whole dump in his ...before putting his tail up the bulls...well you just have to see it for yourself. 

 

Symptoms aka The blood virgin (1974)

Helen (Angela Pleasence) invites her friend Anne (Lorna Heilbron) to stay in her desolate forest mansion but everything isnt quite what it seems to be. Why was she really invited? What deadly secrets lurk within those old walls? Will she live long enough to find out?


José Ramón Larraz delivers an psycho(logical) story about love, lies, murder  and deceit .  Beatiful british countryside scenery with just the right touch of grittyness and old dark house feel, and of course fullblown dementia.To be honest, nothing much happens until the end but Angela "Bloodvirgin" Pleasence (Daughter of  Donald Pleasence) keeps the movie going just fine until its bloodsoaked finale.

La muerte ronda a Mónica aka Death haunts Monica(1976)

Monica is a wealthy heiress with some problems. Her husband Fredrico is not only married to her for her money, he also has an affair and has a criminal past that she knows nothing about.And  as an old partner in crime returns to blackmail Fredrico and a mysterious man in black tries to kill Monica everything spirals out of control.

Death really haunts poor Monica in this  very nice spanish giallo with a twist ending you wont see coming.  Not as violent as a giallo can be but truly a psychological  pleasant surprise.

Clash (1984)

A woman  is handed a suitcase full of cash she must carry to a gangster hideout in an abandoned desolate  factory. She must stay there  for three days  but soon she finds herself locked in with a mysterious dark man that haunts and terrorises her.

Dark  and beautiful French creepy surreal madness. A film about facing inner demons and making peace with your inner child  . If you like creepy mannequins, weird children and selfmutilating women banging their head against the wall, then this is it.

Witchdoctor of the living dead (198?)

In this Nigerian Voodoo Zombie  trashfest a witchdoctor terrorizes a village  with various plauges and strange happenings such as snakes coming out of womens mouths. As a local christian priest tries to stop the curse the witchdoctor summons up the dead and launches an attack on the village.

Oh my Oh my, this is crap but its really good crap, in a craptastic megarare sort of way. Since this 80ies oddity is only availible on second hand vhs copys/rips the quality sucks, not that it was any good to begin with im sure. Anyways, we have a pleasant mix of black magic, voodoo, zombies, bad acting , bad sound editing and some really strange scenes with a pink wig on a dancing priest (Yeah its like wtf?) This can just be one of the rarest zombiefilms you´ll ever get to see if you can get your hands on it.

Emma, puertas oscuras (1974)

Teenage girl Emma (Susanna East) is involved in a car accident and suffers a serious mental condition. Against the doctors wishes her mother decides to lock her up and care for her at home but her behavior gets worse by every day until she loses all control and begins a murderous rampage.

Spanish cinema at its finest, José Ramón Larraz delivers a gritty shocking psycho slasher tale of a teenage girl gone bad, really bad. This is some obscure, rare stuff that is definitely  worth a watch.
